AANS Faculty Credentials
Annette Murray, MSN, RN – Administrator
Ms. Murray graduated with her BSN in 1982 from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. She spent 15 years as Director of Nursing with an emphasis in Pediatric High Tech. Education of clients and staff has always been a focus for Ms. Murray. She began teaching 2008 and completed her Masters at South University in September 2010. Ms. Murray accepted the position as the school Administrator in late 2012. Ms. Murray has assisted with the process of starting the Basic Nurse Assistant Program and the LPN Program.
Marjorie Roache, MSN – Nutrition & Nursing Fundamentals Instructor
Ms. Roache graduated with her BSN from Rush University in 1982. She later obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from University of Illinois at Chicago in 1992. She was the Dean of Nursing & Fine Arts at South Suburban College for 9 years. She has previous experience as a nurse educator, administrator, and Director of Compliance and Accreditation.
Kelli Bell – Computer Technology Instructor
Mrs. Bell joined AANS in October 2012 as a prerequisite instructor for our Introduction to Computer class and continued on to teach math. She attained her B.S. in Computer Science from Chicago State University and her M.B.A. in Program Management from Kaplan University in 2007. Mrs. Bell has previous experience as an Associate Professor of Mathematics as well as an online Professor for Kaplan University where she developed learning and teaching activities for the Foundations of Graduate Learning Course.
Annmarie Rowe, R.N. – Nursing Instructor
Ms. Rowe graduated from Chicago State University in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing with high honors. She started her career as radiology technician for the United States Air Force. She later went on to be a Staff nurse in the Nephrology, Postpartum and Antepartum units.
Marcella Rogers-Coleman, MA, LCPC – Foundations in Mental Healthcare Instructor
She obtained her Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2001. Mrs. Coleman has been a motivational speaker for youth, she has trained mental health therapists, been a professional advisor at DePaul University and more. She has spent years providing mental health care for people of all ages.
Glenda Alexander BSN, RN Nursing Faculty
Ms. Alexander obtained her BSN in 1992 from Indiana University Northwest in Gary, Indiana. She has 26 years of experience working as a RN. She started her career as in well baby nursery then became a NICU nurse. She has worked various hospitals as charge nurse and traveled several states as a traveling nurse. Ms. Alexander is currently preparing our students to begin a successful career in nursing.
